On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Utrecht will host the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon, supported by Utrecht Science Park. The 2025 edition attracted thousands of participants to the Dom City, making the event a household name for runners from Utrecht and beyond in recent years. The organizers are gearing up for a fantastic edition, with the addition of the Dutch Half Marathon Championships. Registration for all events is open again today.
NK Half Marathon
For the 42nd edition of the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon, the Dutch National Championships will be added to the program. The Half Marathon will host the 2026 National Championships, uniquely combining elite athletics and recreational sports in the heart of Utrecht.

Charity
In 2026, the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon will once again support a good cause: the Dutch Cancer Society (KWF Kankerbestrijding). Participants who register through Run Against Cancer and raise at least €750 in sponsorship will receive a free entry and a special Run Against Cancer shirt. With this campaign, the organizers hope to once again contribute significantly to groundbreaking cancer research.
