On Sunday, May 31, 2026, Utrecht will be all about the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon. To ensure the event runs smoothly, some roads in Utrecht and the surrounding area will be temporarily closed. On this page, you can read all about how to get around the city and we’ll keep you updated on the latest news over the coming weeks. For event attendees, residents, and visitors to the city alike.

The start and finish of the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon are at Utrecht Science Park (P4 Aarhuslaan). The event grounds are located at P6 Padualaan.

On the day of the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon, Utrecht Science Park will be closed to regular traffic of participants and visitors. To ensure easy and safe access, we have drawn up a clear parking and transportation plan with various options (bike, tram, bus, or car). We recommend that participants and visitors use the public transportation or by bike.

We therefore advise everyone to prepare thoroughly for the HiPRO Utrecht Marathon.
